The R-Class Legata Pointe Shoes are part of the R-Class Classic Symphony Collection. These are pleated shoes that have higher crowns due to the traditional turn-shoe method used to construct them. The shanks and soles are attached using nails and glue. Both of these processes make the pointe shoes more pliable and allow the dancer to go further over the platform.

Legata is the broadest and widest model in this collection. It is best suited for dancers with broad metatarsals with a very slight taper at the tip. Legata has a very high full crown. It is designed with a U-Cut vamp and includes an elastic drawstring.

This model of Legata includes the Soft shank, which allows for greater articulation and flexibility. It is best suited for dancers that either have very strong feet that require little support from the shoe, or for dancers that have tighter ankles, often beginners, that need help getting over the platform.
