Size Guide

The Nikolay StreamPointe Pointe Shoes feature a U-shaped, medium vamp with high wings and a drawstring, wide platform, and slightly tapered box.

They are made with Nikolay's classic shank construction method. This fully handcrafted process is based on all-natural materials. The variable shank strengthens and breaks down during the lifespan of the shoe, helping to prevent injuries and keeping the feet well trained.

StreamPointe is built on the SmartPointe last, Nikolay's newest last that was built upon dancers' and fitters' feedback over the last decade to fit the modern day foot. It features a lower crown, broader metatarsal area, and narrow heel.

Made with Miracle Glue, an innovative glue with memory effect, this lightweight glue offers extreme flexibility and can be easily adapted by hand. Miracle Glue got its name in that it offers the ultimate in comfort and ease of movement from the first wear. Works equally well in cold, warm and humid climates.

Other product features include:
• Great for shallow feet that are broad throughout the metatarsals
• Classic shank with easy roll-through
• Elasticated binding provides a streamlined fit for dancers with shallow and square foot shapes
• Pliable yet supportive shanks follow any arch height
• Extreme flat platform will allow the dancer stability and secure balance
• Comfortable, soft, shock-absorbing insole
• Lining in the heel made from a unique microfiber fabric that prevents the pointe shoes from slipping off the foot

Available Sizes

The Nikolay StreamPointe Pointe Shoes are available in Sizes 3.5-8, Widths of 1X-5X, and 4 different Shanks. Reinforced shank is available only with StreamPointe. Nikolai StreamPointe Poine Shoes

The StreamPointe Nikolai are my first choice in pointe shoes. They improve the look of my feet when dancing giving them an improved curvature , the size is perfect for my unique feet (a little wider for the length) and I also like that they have a longer life than other pointe shoes that I have worn, the color is also pretty!

Great shoe for dancers with "problem feet"

These shoes are excellent for those of us with shallow feet, disappearing heels, and short toes. I spent years wearing shoes that only fulfilled one of my requirements, but I finally found a shoe that felt customised in StreamPointe. The box has a "U" shape that provides great support while allowing a smooth roll-through even if you have short toes. I personally find that the hard shank is still pretty soft (I have super compressible metatarsals), but they do last long enough to satisfy me, especially when jet glued. My feet are not archy at all, but even when the shoes are new and stiff, I've never had a problem getting over the box. The box is a bit tapered and it pulls the foot nicely out of the shoe without causing ingrown toenails. All in all, probably my favorite shoe I've ever worn.

Great pointe shoes

My daughter has been dancing on pointe shoes for the past 4 years. She has finally found the perfect pair of pointe shoes for her feet! Great quality and the form looks so pretty on her feet. They are also easy to hand sew ribbons on.

Best shoes to compliment your arches

My daughter has tried almost all pointe shoes brands, and Nikolay ends up to be her top choice. Among Nikolay offerings, StreamPointe complimented her arches best. You don’t really need to break them in, and they are just ready to wear. And of course the downside is it doesn’t really last long. I would say they last less than 20 hours. Dance Supplies is a reliable online retailer, and the price for these shoes is the best in the market.

Great shoes for long toes and compressible feet

I'm an adult who has danced en pointe for about 3 years. I've used several of the Suffolk brands which are available in my area, then got fitted for these shoes at a dance shop outside of Salt Lake City while at a dance camp there. I have very long toes, a longer 2nd toe, and narrow, compressible feet. While the most narrow is not quite narrow enough, these work great with lots of toe spacers and the super gellows with the long sides. No more toe pain and good support. I'm on my third pair.
