Bloch Jazz Tap Men's Tap Shoes

Starting out tap as a teen for theater and this is a very solid tap shoe. Had to size down a full size (normally an 8.5-9 street shoe and was an 8 in this tap shoe). Fits well and makes a nice sound.

Happy with purchase. Sizing chart was right on and shoes were a perfect fit. Received package two days after ordering. Package was right size and received in excellent condition. So far I am happy with shoes. Nice tap sound and easy to slide on the floor. Only my second pair of tap shoes, so I'll stop here with my review.

First, using the sizing chart I received the correct size the first time through. The shoes are NOT made in China which, for me, is a huge plus. The leather is good quality and the shoes appear to be well made. The "taps" are great sounding. As I have used these shoes only a few times so far I can not comment on how they will wear - but I also own a pair of Bloch men's dance shoes and they have been used "hard" for the last three years (sometimes as much as 27 hours a week on the dance floor) and have held up very well. I look forward to using these tap shoes as well.

First pair of tap shoes for my son-(Age 16). He states they are very comfortable. They are also true to size. So far they have held up to play rehearsal.
