The Suffolk Reign Pointe Shoes are made on the most universal Russian last. They have a low profile and wide platform that slightly tapers to suit a wide variety of foot shapes. The ultra-sleek, pleatless platform gives an elegant line to the toe box. The pre-arched construction of the shoe allows the shank to contour to the foot and minimizes break-in. The unique full leather sole with grooved stitching provides a flat, stable bottom.

It’s not exactly the same but close enough. The box is maybe a tiny bit softer and the shank feels softer than the Rubin soft shank, so they don’t last me as long. I wear a vamp 1 in Rubin and the Reign is slightly higher, but I can deal with it. I like the darker satin color and wider, more stable sole much better.

These shoes never properly "died" for me. The shank & box remained hard, while there were odd "soft spots". The box worked backward against my feet, instead of pulling me forward. Overly tapered box caused constant ingrown toenails for months. However, the shoe did last quite a while & were supportive - despite being painful. Avoid these if you have a narrow, disappearing heel! These took every opportunity to pop off. Tried sewing them a couple different ways, but they still would pop off my heel. I wore about three pairs of Reign and I would never go back. I have shallow, medium-width, flat feet and short toes, and these shoes seem like they'd be a better fit for someone with archier, narrower feet and medium-long toes. The sizing runs about half-size larger than Bloch.

It has taken me a long time to find a shoe to replace the RP Luminas I loved for years! These shoes are so close to the Luminas for me. My feet are strong, so I need a Work horse hard shank Russian style shoe to last through classes, rehearsals and audition season! These are very well made and appreciate we don’t have to replace the laces with this Suffolk!
My only problem was not realizing 2 day shipping is USPS
Great product! So glad I could get them at a time when I could not find hard shanks in my size. Too bad it took 16 days to arrive… we can only blame usps, though. Now I know.

The USPS Priority Mail service you selected usually takes 2 days from us to you, but the tracking shows that it got hung up in USPS' distribution centers for well over a week which is very unusual. We're glad the pointe shoes finally reached you though and so happy that you love them!

I bought these shoes because my Rubin Radiance shoes have been discontinued and these were suggested. I think that they would work better for me if I had ordered the correct width, I ordered a 2X instead of a 3X, so they are too narrow and don’t flatter my feet. Again I think they are fine, but I believe I would like them better with the correct width. They seem to break in nicely and the standard shank is nice because they support my feet but aren’t too hard so I can still roll through nicely.
