The Nikolay DreamPointe 2007 Pointe Shoes (also referred to as Allure) feature a U-shaped medium vamp with long wings and a drawstring, wide platform, and slightly tapered box. It uses a unique construction method of integrating the insole and platform with eco-friendly orthopedic thermoplastic material to provide for a wider sole and platform giving more balance and stability.
DreamPointe is built on the 2007 last, which was developed with consideration of the anatomic features of a medium width foot with a medium arch with medium or long toes. This unique construction satisfies 90% of ballerinas, and most Nikolay pointe shoe models are based on the 2007 last.
DreamPointe is an innovative model with a pre-arched shank that provides extra comfort and support to the heel. It is a paste-free shoe, and the use of thermo-formable materials help make the insole very lightweight.

• The box is made of natural materials that absorb moisture and form to your feet.

I really like these shoes. They are a great combination of paste and plastic.
If you were in the previous American made Gaynor Mindens I highly recommend trying these shoes.
Just be careful of bending the shank with your hands...it will snap.

This is my second pair of Allures. I can shape my feet better than other shoes, the rollup/demi-pointe is easy to control, and they're quiet on the floor. Very little break-in needed but the first pair lasted me 50-100 hrs. Elastic drawstrings!
They may run wide; the pro-flex XXX which I bought ~10 yrs ago matches the Allure X.
My feet are street size 6-6.5, high arches and very compressible; I bought 4.5X.

Hard to find this shoe in the HF shank in my daughter's size, but DanceSupplies had a couple left that worked out so my daughter was able to have some backup pairs to break in before her show She likes that they last longer than some other brands she's tried.
