I had never worn t-strap character shoes, as a veteran wearer of the mary jane style by Capezio. However, I was looking for something with a bit more height, and this price was unbeatable.
I am SO happy with my purchase - these are 1000x better than the mary jane style! My foot is secure, the shoes are comfortable (I didn't have much time to break them in, and I wore them every day for two weeks - through tech week, hell week, and the run of the show I was in.) My feet didn't start to ache until the last two nights of the show, and by then it was because I was standing for 10 hours a day.
I highly recommend these to anyone looking for a good pair of character shoes - 10/10!
